Strawberry freeze

Not that the music wasn't great, but Strawberry Spring '06 will probably be remembered most for the cold temperatures and Saturday sleetstorm. All of us froze our toes off, but Don Dowell from the Hogranch listserv took the trouble to record actual temperatures. Here's his report:

"In my camp, under the trees along Yosemite Trails Road against upper Coyote Meadow, the overnight low temp measured Friday night was 34°, and the Saturday night low was 31°. The Sunday night low was 36°. It was still wonderful to be there with great music and even better people all around. I'm looking forward to Fall so I can break out the shorts and sandals I never used at Spring."
